Terms, fees & refunds

paganeta is a link paywall. A seller pastes any URL they already control — a Google Drive file, a Notion page, an unlisted video, a Dropbox folder — sets a price between $1 and $500, and receives a short paganeta.com link. Anyone who opens that link sees the price and a button to pay. On successful payment, the buyer is shown a confirmation page containing the seller’s original URL, which they open from there.

A seller may instead sell a short written message, capped at 2,000 characters. We store that message, encrypted, and show it to the buyer after payment.

paganeta does not host, mirror, or proxy files. We store either an encrypted destination URL, which we redirect to, or an encrypted short message, which we display. Nothing else about the sale is kept. The seller is solely responsible for what they sell, for keeping any linked destination available, and for having the right to sell it.

paganeta is operated by Robert Ramos, founder, as a sole proprietorship in the United States. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. For anything at all, reach us at support@paganeta.com.

Creating a link is free. paganeta charges a flat 8% of each successful unlock, with no fixed per-sale fee. Stripe separately charges its own payment processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 for US card payments).

On a $5 unlock, that means $0.40 to paganeta, about $0.45 to Stripe, and about $4.15 to the seller. Fees are taken at the time of payment — there are no monthly charges, listing fees, or minimums.

No account is required to create a link. When you create one, you receive a private management URL containing a secret key. That URL is shown once and is not recoverable — we store only a hash of the key, never the key itself. Save it. If you lose it, email support@paganeta.com with your link slug and the email address used at checkout, and we will work with you to verify ownership.

Earnings accumulate against your link. Once you have accumulated more than $20, the management page lets you complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding to withdraw. Onboarding is handled entirely by Stripe and requires identity and bank details that Stripe collects directly. After onboarding, revenue from future unlocks routes to your Stripe account automatically.

Below $20 there is no payout mechanism and no signup requirement. You are free to walk away with no obligation.

When you pay to unlock a link, you are purchasing access to a URL chosen by the seller. Delivery is immediate: on successful payment you are shown that URL, along with a receipt for what you paid. That page stays valid, so you can return to it later.

paganeta does not review, endorse, or guarantee the content behind any link, and does not know what a given link contains. Your transaction is with the seller. paganeta provides the payment and redirect mechanism.

Because unlocking delivers access instantly, unlocks are generally non-refundable.

We will, however, issue a refund if the link does not work as promised — specifically if the destination URL is dead, broken, inaccessible, or clearly not what the seller represented it to be. Email support@paganeta.com within 14 days of your purchase with the link and a description of the problem. We respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

If you believe a payment was fraudulent or unauthorized, contact us before filing a chargeback — we can usually resolve it faster.

Links may not be used to sell or distribute: sexual content involving minors; content that sexualizes or endangers children in any way; illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods; stolen data, credentials, or financial instruments; counterfeit goods or currency; malware or tools intended to cause harm; content that infringes someone else’s copyright or other rights; or anything otherwise prohibited by law or by the Stripe restricted businesses list.

Separately, and regardless of whether it is legal where you live, paganeta does not permit links to adult or sexually explicit content, gambling, or the sale of firearms and ammunition. Our payment processor prohibits these categories for accounts like ours, so we prohibit them too.

We remove links that violate these rules and may withhold associated funds. Report abuse to support@paganeta.com.

We store the destination URL (encrypted at rest), the price, unlock counts, and payment records. Buyer IP addresses are stored only as salted, irreversible hashes for abuse prevention. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

We do not sell data, run advertising, or share information with third parties except as required to process payments (Stripe) or comply with the law.

paganeta is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue the service. We are not party to the transaction between buyer and seller beyond processing payment and performing the redirect, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount of the transaction in question.
